Celebrating our own, Karla Medina on this 2023 Mother’s Day
Congratulations to Anthem Strong Families’ very own Karla Medina, Intake Specialist, who graduated from UNT Dallas, SUMMA CUM LAUDE! Karla received her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. Karla dreamed of finishing college years ago, but life’s challenges got in the way. With drive, hard work, perseverance, and determination Karla made one of her life dreams come true. She says she will celebrate the best Mother’s Day ever with her three children. “After having my children, it was just extremely challenging to finish and to finish well. But, I did it.” What’s next for Karla? She says she’s not missing a beat. She’s enrolling in the master’s program and eventually wants to work for the court system.
